It’s based on the idea that we are all energy beings and have the universal energy running through and around us and when attuned the practitioner can harness these energies to help promote mind & body healing. A Reiki practitioner either gently places or hovers their hands over the clients clothed body, sometimes they may gently move there hands over energy points in the body, this is to help encourage the flow of energy “life force energy”.
What can you gain from Reiki; Reiki can help you feel lighter and more able to deal with difficult situations, improve your mood, help sleep and promote inner calm.
